ANS was formed in 2003 from a core team of experienced instrumentation and petroleum engineers who had pioneered technologies and processes for permanent downhole gauges, advanced completions and real time production management in the North Sea.

Projects Director - Leo Osugo.
Also the Managing Director of ANS with over 25 years industry experience. Leo is an experienced Project Manager who has consistently achieved outstanding results in technology and operational roles in the upstream oil services industry.

His most recent project was as a Consultant Project Operations Manager for FMC in delivering the installation and commissioning for the CNR Baobab project in Ivory

Coast. The scope of work involved delivering a subsea system consisting of:

8 productions, wells
2 Injection wells
4 subsea manifolds
Topsides controls and a production data management system.
Water depth of 1200m

Prior to this Leo worked for Schlumberger from 1983 - 2003 in UK, Denmark, Sweden, China, Italy, Nigeria, Congo, Cameroon, Angola, and France in operational, technical and business roles. He was the Field Services manager for Schlumberger
Wireline services Eastern Nigeria from 1992 – 1997 and also has excellent operational experience in Nigeria.

XT and Wellhead Maintenance Supervisor – Paul Stephen
Paul is an experienced subsea and well head maintenance engineer with over 24 years oil industry experience.
He is currently providing consultancy technical support and project co-ordination for FMC Technologies on various major refurbishment projects of subsea equipment. Previous to that, he was a consultant Wellhead Engineer on Karachaganack Field development in West Kazakhstan Region. Duties included :

Preparation, Installation and testing of all surface wellhead equipment for the project.
Testing of BOP’s and associated equipment.
Training local employees and ensuring safe working practices are carried out on all aspects of the job.

Project Engineer i- wells - John Gaskell
Petroleum Engineer associate consultant with over 32 Years Industry Experience.
John is an experienced Petroleum Engineer who throughout his 30 year career in the upstream oil services industry has consistently performed at the highest levels in operations, technical training, sales, application engineering, business management, R&D and Operations project management and business development. His most recent project was as a consultant Project Manger for Dubai Petroluem Company for an i-well project offshore United Arab Emirates.

Prior to this, John worked for 2 years with Weatherford Completion Systems, UK as Business Development Manager (Europe, CIS & Africa) for the intelligent wells . He also worked for 15 years with Schlumberger in a number of positions (Wireline Logging, Permanent Monitoring and Intelligent Well, Field Engineer, Training School Manger, Project Engineer, Location Manger, Project Manager, Business Development Manager). Previous to that he worked in the following organisations

Completions Engineer - John Harkness
John is a petroleum engineer with over 20 years industry experience. His most recent project was as a consultant well operations engineer for BP for intervention and re-entry work on the Bruce subsea field. Prior to this, John was the Training Centre Manager for Schlumberger at the Completions Training Centre in Houston responsible for the development and implementation of “Well Completions” section of a new training programme for all levels of staff from Business Managers to Field Engineers including roll out to worldwide locations. He has extensive experience as a project engineer for permanent gauge installations and was responsible for the installation of a number of new technologies icluding a wireless telemetry gauge system in Brunei and hydro acoustics data logger in Vietnam.

Production Optimisation - Sam Simonian
Sam is an industry renowned flow assurance specialist with over 18 years industry experience. Sam had 9 years experience with Schlumberger Research & Development developing instruments for measuring multiphase flows, Electro/Mechanical design for MWD tools, data acquisition and delivery systems. The next 3 years were spent working in Marketing developing and enhancing permanent production monitoring products

In the last 5 years he has been working in various operator offices (Shell, BG, Occidental) on Production Data Services and Production Technology projects.
